The distributor welcomed dealers into its new Des Moines facility with a grand opening event, showcasing a new training room, deals, and easy access to diverse inventory
Pioneer Music Company (PMC), premium regional distributor of consumer and specialty electronics for the Midwestern market and PowerHouse Alliance member, expanded its 149-year-old business with a new, fifth location in Des Moines, Iowa.
PMC locations are designed with integrators in mind, and the Des Moines location carries this experience with just-in-time inventory, one-day shipping to anywhere in the territory, and same-day courier service to anywhere in the local metro area. Residential and commercial dealer customers of the Des Moines location will benefit from access to one-stop shopping of PMC’s premium and diversified line card, featuring hundreds of brand-name products right off the shelf. And to support dealers with the knowledge they need to tackle any installation and design systems with ease and confidence, PMC has planned a new cutting-edge training program, which has room to grow in its new training facility.
Dealers in the area celebrated the new Des Moines facility at the grand opening event on October 12. “In welcoming dealers to our new location, we were extremely humbled by the tangible level of excitement we felt from them,” said PMC Vice President Alec Haight. “Our dealers are true hobbyists and love this industry and its technology, and we’re proud that we’re able to support their mission to expand their business.”
PMC Des Moines will be led by Connor Smith, who is moving up the team from the Omaha location, joined by a new member to the team who brings over a decade of custom install experience, Shawn Woolman. “Opening a new location has been a milestone to show the growth that PMC has had, and our success in helping dealers,” said Haight. The grand opening event was a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone in our company. The Des Moines staff will bring the difference of PMC to Iowa with hands-on and above-and-beyond service.”
With the new location, the distributor looks forward to connecting closer with Des Moines-area dealers, and with full stock and unmatched customer support. “These grand openings represent an investment in a market. We’ve had the opportunity to shake every dealer’s hand and look them in the eye, promising to provide them the best service possible,” commented Woolman.
PMC’s representation includes Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri and Southern Illinois markets, with locations in Chanute and Lenexa, Kansas, Omaha, Nebraska, Chesterfield, Missouri, and now, Des Moines, Iowa.
