Corey begins talking with Jennifer as she helped bring the theme, as well as the guests to this show – she talks about Creative Realities and what they do in terms of the technology, creative and the experience. Ed talks about HighStreet being consultants and practitioners focused on the retail space, designing around the shopper’s experience. Vern talks about Grace Street Media in terms of the “marriage” of content and technology, along with strategic thinking and storytelling. Brandy talks about rp Visual Solutions and the #MoreThanAMount statement.
Next, all talk about creative and content, and Jennifer begins by talking about her and Vern being a part of the DSF Education Committee, educational programs and how they discuss content. Ed talks about the Digital Experience (DX) Forum at DSE, focused discussion from the forum about the CMO being the new client and talking to the CMO in their language. Steve, with his marketing and brand experience picks up on the discussion talking about a proactive approach and how it relates to digital signage perspective and design. He also talks about omnichannel. Vern talks about how the CMO has taken over and how many will need to market to them – with brand, technology, and content. Brandy talks about being directly in touch with the CMO to discuss architectural solutions, also discussing optimization, unique solutions and “painting the bigger picture.”
