Corey, Katye and brand new Crew member Michelle Loret are joined on this pre-ISE 2018 show by well known AV industry companies providing products and solutions in various categories – projectors, displays and digital signage, wireless presentation, high end wireless microphone systems, enterprise voice and collaboration, visual collaboration and advanced audio conferencing, and a software-defined platform to control, manage and analyze the enterprise.
We begin with introduction of the guests, and then have them talk about their companies, along with products and solutions, some brand new, that they’re bringing to ISE. Bob Sharp starts out talking about the Utelogy software-defined control platform, which has increased in visibility in the industry being a true software solution, this along with a conversation of playing more on “IT’s terms.” Peter Herr is next talking about the new P300 IntelliMix Audio Conferencing Processor and Microflex Advanced ceiling and table array microphones. He then talks about Axient Digital, which drew major reviews at InfoComm 2017. Rich Ventura talks about some of NEC Display’s solutions (including a discussion of Raspberry Pi which was brought to InfoComm 2017), C-Series commercial grade displays with an attractive price point, along with the RB Laser Cinema projector. The Crew also congratulate Rich on being re-elected as the Chairman of the Digital Signage Federation which he also talks about.
Michael Vanderheeren gives a small preview of the UniSee video wall product, and then talks all about ClickShare which is coming to ISE in a celebration of its 5th year on the market as a leading wireless presentation product. Michael also gives a preview of an excellent special promotion that Barco will be holding at the stand. Adrian Doughty talks about the Nureva visual collaboration solution, Span software and HDL300 audio conferencing system as the company looks to advance creative collaboration and digital transformation for the enterprise. Tim Stone talks about what Polycom is offering in terms of “human to human collaboration” and the user experience with their products and solutions, including Trio and Pano, as well as their ecosystem play.
Next the guests get a little deeper into the ISE 2018 discussion, what they will be doing there, along with excellent conversations, perspectives and insights from each of them. Of course as always there’s some of the beer talk (some Amsterdam, some Belgian), and this discussion about a scooter…
Relax, plug in, and hop aboard as we head down the road to ISE 2018 while we live…
