You’ll hear these 11 women talk about the AVIXA Women’s Council, along with the regional groups that they head up, some of the upcoming meetings and events (as well as ones that took place in 2017), along with how women in the AV industry can get involved and even start their own groups. Men as always are invited to get involved, attend meetings, etc.
Brandy begins by talking about how she and Cory started their Women of InfoComm group in Southern California in early 2016, and recruiting others. Cory talks about the first meeting, and involving others to head up meetings. Amanda talks about AVIXA and the AVIXA Women’s Council along with her role, AVIXA’s involvement and coordination with regional groups, and bringing on new groups.
