The Crew of The AV Life bring you a special episode as you’ll hear them talk about tech, social media, beers and more — and of course #InternationalPodcastDay.

The Crew are:

Corey Moss – Corey is the creator, producer and a host of The AV Life (along with other podcasts including ‘Convergent Tech Talk’ and ‘The Final (AV) Word’ on Convergent AV). With over 20 years in audio visual integration and IT/computer sales and consulting, he is the owner of Convergent AV. Corey writes for the publication and has written for numerous industry publications about AV, IT, unified communications and collaboration (UCC), cloud and software, IoT, cybersecurity and more. He has also conducted interviews with AV and IT executives and global influencers.

Katye McGregor Bennett – Katye is the other host of the show and has also been Corey’s “partner in podcasting” since January 2016. She’s the CEO|Chief Strategist at KMB Communications and is a “Jane of All Trades.” Katye is a hard-working, seasoned, and energetic executive with 20+ years experience in the audio-visual industry, serving the Custom Installation (CEDIA), InfoComm, and Consumer Technology (CE/CT) markets and reaching audiences and influencers in the residential, commercial, and pro AV space.

Alan Brawn – Alan is a Principal of Brawn Consulting (along with son Jonathan), an audio visual and digital signage consulting, educational development, and market intelligence firm with international exposure to major manufacturers, distributors, consultants, and integrators. He is an AV industry veteran with experience spanning three decades and is a recognized author for leading AV industry magazines and newsletters such as Systems Contractor News, Digital Signage Magazine, and AV Technology. Alan is the Director of the Digital Signage Experts Group certifying professionals in the digital signage industry and is the past Chairman of the Digital Signage Federation. Alan came aboard with The Crew in September after being a guest of numerous episodes of the show. Alan is a true craft beer aficionado.

Jonathan Brawn – Jonathan is a Principal of Brawn Consulting (see above), he sits on the advisory board for the Digital Signage Expo and is chairman of the DSE technical track. Jonathan co-created ISF-C and DSEG certifications and works as senior consultant to top manufacturers including Samsung, Canon and Premier Mounts. He was awarded the CI 40 Under 40 in 2017.  Jonathan joined The Crew along with Alan after also being a guest of numerous episodes, and is not only an aficionado, he’s the show’s ultimate craft beer expert.

Justin Rexing – Justin, who also just joined the show as a Crew member after being a guest of several episodes (he is also a regular on The Final (AV) Word podcast) is responsible for the Design and Engineering of audiovisual systems across Western Kentucky University’s main and extended campuses. He is also Sr. Managing Partner of Rexing Consulting, specializing in audiovisual engineering, consulting and integration.

Jen Cole – Jen is the newest member of The Crew as well as being brand new to AV industry podcasting. She is a social media specialist and community manager by trade with her company Backspace Media, as well as Pre-Event Community Manager at Social Media Examiner – that along with being one of our resident The AV Life marketers. Jen is a co-host of the Convergent AV Radio podcast ‘Making a Marketer.’
