As things have wound down with coverage of two of the first major trade shows of the year – ISE and the Digital Signage Expo, it’s time to get geared up for InfoComm 2017!

Whether it’s your first visit, your fifth (or more), InfoComm always has something new for you. If you’re looking for CTS prep, education/training sessions and events, (including the Emerging Trends Day) you’ll find all that you need at the show. New exhibitors to go along with the well-known industry exhibitors, the Innovations Showcase on the show floor, the all new TIDE thought-leadership conference, Center Stage, Immersive Technology Pavilion, The Park, and much more.

For Convergent AV, we’re looking forward to covering the show – beginning the first week of May with an excellent The AV Life show where our guests are marketing and PR professionals with major industry exhibitors. In fact the rest of the month is mostly devoted to InfoComm on the podcast with certain shows dedicated to digital signage, UCC, and even social media. In fact one show will have some very well known #AVTweeps on as guests.

Here is The AV Life Crew member team that you hear on the shows:

Our The AV Life Iowa State University STEM student Crew member Taylor Meyer, with a passion for robotics, along with being Outreach Coordinator for Iowa State Cyclone Space Mining (a team of Iowa State University students participating in the NASA Robotic Mining Competition), hosted her first podcast last week – give it a listen!

We’ll also be talking with executives and influencers in the industry on special podcasts, and we’ll be doing the pre-trade show The Show Corner as well.

At the show we’ll be looking for top solutions, as well as top booths – more info to come on that in terms of what we’ll be doing there, including podcasting!

All of this, along with some changes taking place on Convergent AV as well. Stay tuned.
