Note: This podcast was recorded prior to ISE 2017.
This ISE 2017 show conversation is with Tim Brooksbank, CEO at Calibre. At ISE, Calibre will demonstrate to the Pro AV market the broad capabilities of their HQUltra 4K presentation scaler-switchers and LED screen scalers. They will also be highlighting several real-world installation scenarios.
In this discussion you’ll hear Tim at the RAI Amsterdam talking about their stand at the show (under construction during the discussion), the capabilities of the HQUltra , usage at the world’s largest sporting events and venues as well as in Pro AV applications, and why you need to visit Calibre at the show, which includes playing some classic games along with a grand prize for the player with the highest score.
A note of interest here – Tim’s background is in micro electronics and computer processing and he certainly knows a lot about 4K. He also happens to be loads of fun as you will hear.
Here is a picture of Tim at the RAI during the recording of this show.
Calibre will be in 12N45, and its HQUltra technology can be found on several partner booths on the trade floor including the Drone Arena (sponsored by Stampede Global), Fonix (12C50), Kramer Electronics (1F20) and Optoma Europe (1H120). Calibre HQUltra technology will also be found running the LED video wall outside the main RAI entrance provided by Fonix.
(Note: there are sounds of the Calibre stand being built in the recording).
