Join Host Corey Moss and guest co-host Paul Zielie as they welcome:

Alesia Hendley (@thesmoothfactor) – AV Tech/Operator/The Berry Center at Cypress-Fairbanks ISD in Houston, TX.

On this show Corey begins talking with Paul about his participation at ISE 2017, including the sessions he will be doing (including the “Dark Arts”). Corey and Paul then begin talking with Alesia about her background (beginnings in audio and House of Worship), as well as her education and recent entry into the AV industry. Alesia also talks about some of the industry events she’s attended and the AV people who have become great influences for her.

Alesia then talks about attending InfoComm 2017 in Orlando and what she’ll be looking forward to when she’s at the show. She focuses discussion on the young AV professionals and how she hopes to meet up with many of them at the show. Paul also gives his perspective about attending InfoComm as well as the other trade shows.

Corey then asks Alesia the question “What is AV” and she gives her answer, as does Paul. Perspectives from the young AV professional as well as the more experienced one.

Discussion then focuses on Alesia’s participation as a blog contributor for soundgirls.org, as well as a blog she wrote Audio on the 50 Yard Line. There is also discussion of her Convergent AV blog 3 Reasons to Offer Live Streaming As a Service.
